“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”– Mark Twain

10 reasons you need to dream big

Often you must have heard these things from great people ;dream big. Why do you think they repeat the same thing? There must be some reason?
The reason is that wherever those people are, whom we hear or read about today, they too had a dream in their life, and that is why they are called great men or women and are a source of inspiration for so many us today.
It is that dream or will power to do something that teaches us to live our lives in the right way.

Here are 10 reasons why you need to dream big

1.It will help you to find out the purpose of your life:

Everything present in this world has a purpose. Nothing is there without reason.
Dreaming helps you figure out what you want to do in your life and figure out if you want or someone else is doing on your behalf because most of us in this world are walking on the path that someone else is doing has set for us. Although everyone has a different dream of their own, which they want to fulfil,

we do not have the courage to make that dream come true, no matter the reason, be it family, be it society, or lack self-confidence.
We end up doing the type of job which can never give us a sense of fulfilment.
Become a dreamer and if you are walking on the path that is taking you away from your dream and makes you unhappy, leave it immediately because the time is always right to do the right things.

2.It will motivate you to attain your goal in life

Everyone wants to wake up every morning full of excitement and freshness so that any challenge that comes in the whole day can be met firmly.
But this is possible only when we are happy inside. This can happen only when there is a goal in our life, and the desire to fulfil the goal compels us to wake up every morning.
When we know that we are on the right path and seeing ourselves moving closer to our dreams, we are automatically filled with enthusiasm and energy.

3.It will build up your self-confidence and belief in yourself

There are no limitations to the mind except those that we acknowledge”- Napoleon Hill

Very accurate; limitations only exist in our minds, and when we accept it, it becomes the reality of our life.

We start believing that we are not worth achieving this big dream, or we are not suitable for this job, or we do not have enough knowledge to achieve our goal.

But when we have a strong desire or dream, we develop a strong sense of faith and self-confidence.Whatever might come, I will continue moving.

Remember, our life is just like an echo; whatever you believe or give gets reflected you the same way, be it good or bad. You become what you think; now it’s up to you what you think.

4.It will encourage you to become a perfectionist

When we have a dream in life, it becomes a source of motivation for us and backs us every time we fall or fail. The same plan also inspires us to look inside ourselves and introspect to know where and what we are doing wrong.
Those are the dreams that give us the power to quit every bad habit and adopt good practices.

Only those dreams show us all the way to make work easier by connecting with good people.
Those are the dreams that give us the ability to go through anything to make us the best

5.It will show you the importance of failure

“Failure is just a stepping stone in the path of success.”

Both failure and success are aspects of the same coin. Where there is a success, there will be a failure.

It is annoying and painful at times but remember it is our honest teacher. Its contribution is the most behind, making any human being the best.

There are many stories in the world that prove this, the great inventor Thomas Edison created the bulb only after failing 10,000 times, Abraham Lincoln became President of America only after losing so many times, Walt Disney became successful only after losing the job, and there are lot more stories which indicate that

the pinnacle of success stands on the heap of defeat, and for such success, it is necessary to dream.

6.It will make you to ask for all those things you deserve

Believe, ask, and receive – this is the law of the universe.

This is very simple. We will not get it until we ask for it. We do not ask until we have a goal or a dream. Whenever we dream big, we know our worth and what we want.

Asking here does not mean to be greedy at all; asking here means asking for strength to fight every challenge, asking for advice from good and knowledgeable people, asking for our potential prospects, asking for the place we deserve.

And the courage to ask for this comes when we step forward to make something better and more prominent.

7.You will be socially more connected

When we have a goal, that goal forces us to go out and find people like ourselves, to meet people who have already done a lot of good things and who can show us the way to fulfil our dreams.

When we meet such people, and when they see this spirit of ours, they are also inspired somewhere and help us to connect with knowledgeable people in our way.
In this way, a great leader and a hardworking group are born.
Always remember that if you want to reach greater heights in life, learn to walk together.

8.They bring opportunities and prosperity with them

Whenever we join new people like ourselves, new people with new ideas also kick in new opportunities. Our thinking ability and reach increases, and more paths to fulfil our dreams are opened.

Take two people as an example, one who has compromised with his life by giving up and the other one who is continuing his efforts without fail; who do you think has a stronger claim for opportunity and luck? well, I guess you know the correct answer

I think that’s why it is said, “when we cease to dream, we cease to live”.

9.You will learn how precious time is

Whenever we join new people like ourselves, new people with new ideas also kick in new opportunities. Our thinking ability and reach increases, and more paths to fulfil our dreams are opened.

10.It benefits the other people and the world too

The most significant benefit of dreaming is the world’s progress and the ordinary people living in it. History is the witness that all the good changes in the world result from someone’s dream, and the same is happening today.

Just imagine if Benjamin Franklin had not dreamed of making electricity, Carl Benz would not have dreamed of making cars, or Abraham Lincoln would not have dreamed of having freed his country from slavery, or two brothers would not have dreamed of making a plane.

There are countless more examples. Just imagine if such great people would not have dreamed, where would this world be today?

The truth is whenever we think of doing something big and get it done. It turns beneficial not only for us but also for other people and this world.

And it should be the thinking of every human being that he should do something in his lifetime, which benefits not only him but also other needy ones, though it can be on a trim level, still is fulfilling.
